Today was our first time visiting after a mutual friend recommended this place for a visit and it is a lovely place. It reminds me of one of those diners in a small town in those wholesome movies because it was welcoming and down to earth. Everyone was wonderful. The food was really good and your get a good portion, the fried chicken and waffles with the strawberry butter my husband got was huge! I got the steak and egg bowl and it was absolutely filling. Super good. We appreciate our server Brooke B for taking such good care of us and making sure we were welcomed. She is absolutely sweet! Thank you! 10/10 will recommend and visit again.
Stopped in for a quick breakfast on a road trip. Got the country Benedict and wife got then San Francisco Benedict. Both were prepared quickly, food was hot and flavorful, server was quick and efficient. Couldn't ask for a better experience!

This is your regular, back-to-the-50's, down-home diner, folks! If you're looking for just plain good cookin', this is your place! A smattering of all kinds of cuisine is available here. We shared a chicken and waffles meal. Wow!! Was it ever delicious! Tender Belgian waffles served in piled-up fourths, topped with a round mound of fresh strawberry butter (whipped butter with actual strawberries in it!). Four pieces of deep-fried chicken (half a chicken) with a marvelous, so-very-crunchy coating!! I ate the breast piece, and it was very juicy and tender. The seasoning was just right! We're too full to order dessert, but they have amazing desserts here as well. Y'all have to try this place out!! They're friendly here. Bobbie was our very sweet and efficient waitress. And if you're a veteran, still active military, or are a military family, you'll appreciate all the military memorabilia gracing the walls here. You'll gonna love it here! 💟
I would recommend this restaurant! The quality of the food is really great! The service wonderful and quick! And me and my family got 3 meals and only paid $34.64 and they were huge!
Dollop made the best burger I have ever eaten. Great friendly place. Definitely coming back. Second time here and all i can say is OMG food is so delicious and fresh. Still the best burger by far. Keep up the good work Dollo. Staff is amazing friendly professional and attentive. Wish I could give more stars. Love love love this place.
A delightful and delicious spot for lunch with all members of the group finding great choices. From salads to sandwiches, everything was fresh and well prepared. I appreciated the calorie counts to help with choices.
I love Metro Diner!! The staff is very friendly and helpful. My autistic grandson will only eat French fries with no salt or any seasoning and they were more than happy to accommodate our request for him. He did tell our server that they were the best fries he had ever had. Thank you Metro diner and staff!
We both had the pot roast special an it was more than delicious. The best part was there was more meat than potato. The gravy was rich with just the right seasonings. Highly recommend this diner.
The food was a amazing I had the California eggs Benedict without the tomato. So good along with crispy hash browns and onions. My husband got the rachero ? Mexican with scrambled eggs,blk beens,sausage,tomatos green peppers and jalapeno. It came with really great big chips. We both ate our whole dishes. Jason our server was amazing and very thoughtful. Thank you Jason and Metro Dinner we will be back soon. * This was now our 3rd visit . 2 nd ordered the same California eggs Benedict but asked to have tomato grilled or cooked some. Even better my husband had same again . This 3rd visit was again amazing food. This is quickly becoming our go to when we are in this part of town. This time I tried the cresant French toast with a side of link sausage sooo good. A extra treat and not to sweet especially if a lil sadauge with the bite of French toast. Highly recommend this also. I then saved half of it to the side to have for breakfast this morning with another order of link sausage. It was that big. So I knew I had to put half aside before I got butter a syrup on it . Of course my husband had the same . He gets cravings for that Mexican ranchero? Our waitress was very attentive and on it before almost we could ask for anything. Her name is Magda R.we will ask for her or Jason again. I believe Jason works nights now.
